The Early Demise of our FX26SCE I was disappointed to find that there is no replacement part for the primer bulb on the FX26SCE. It would have been necessary to buy the entire carburetor, since repair kits are not available. ($35.00 w/S&H). Why change the old design to make it impossible for consumers to fix a minor problem, which in the past only required a trip to the hardware store and a minor purchase. I don't understand? Good product for the exception of primer bulb. I have owned several weedeaters electrical and gas and they were reliable. But I was disappointed that the second time I used it, the tubing to the primer bulb broke off and I could not prime the weedeater May 4, 2012
Good for 1 season. I bought this trimmer because I am disabled and it had great reviews for being lightweight and easy starting.. I used it maybe five or six times last summer and stored it for the winter. Tried to get it going this year and nothing works. New fuel, fuel filter, air filter, spark plug. Will not start. I give up.this is killing my back and arthritis. April 28, 2012

Weed Eater FX26SCE I am very satisfied with this Weed Eater. I had an older one and it finally wore out. This is easy to start and handle. Well pleased at this point. LaMar April 19, 2012
Good Trimmer This weed eater is very easy to start and is lightweight. I have used it to edge and trim under bushes and around flower beds. It is easy to maneuver and thanks to it's weight, it does not cause fatigue. I can get the whole job done on one tank of gas which is great considering the price of gas these days. The engine is sort of loud so I would suggest wearing ear plugs when using this machine. I haven't used this trimmer but 3 times so I cannot give a true rating for durability. That determination can only come with time. April 9, 2012
I bought a weedeater FX25SCE My mistake The product cranks very easy when it is brand new. Once it gets a few months old, my primer buld started to leak. Not a simple fix because you have to replace the carberator. Cost $24.90 parts labor $65.00. This is more than the product cost at WalMart. The two year warranty does not cover this. I would sterr away from WeedEater products April 8, 2012
Piece of junk I am in a wheelchair and I bought this weed eater because it was supposed to be light and easy to start. I bought it in June of 2011, used it one time in my front yard around the ramp and porch. I have been trying to get this thing started again since mid February of this year and it will not start for anything. It has new gas/oil, at the right ratio, a new spark plug, new air filter... nothing works. I would not recommend this brand to anyone nor will I ever buy another one. It is a waste of money. Pretty Expense for a one time use. March 17, 2012
